Sail

The far north of Norway, called Lofoten. The Lofoten islands are famous for the jagged peaks and dry fish racks all across the area. I was aboard one of the sailboats in this photo taking aerial shots of this fjord. The boats were anchored there and we spent the night moored to the shoals of the sea-bottom… just a few miles from the famous Scandinavian beach, Unstad. The water is crystal clear and very cold even in mid July as this is significantly north of the arctic circle.
